Paintings for Lizzy

I have had the pleasure of working on a series of paintings for a couple who is having their first child (a baby girl); the mother happens to be one of the most patient people on Earth, and has provided the most loving daycare for my Bella Boo for a few months. This job gave me a chance to further develop some sketches of animals derived from my elephant drawings from months ago and an excuse to hang out in my cave (basement studio area) for many hours. So here they are, finally done!

I hope you like them! I am pretty proud of the way they turned out and hope that Lizzy will enjoy them too :)
Thanks for reading!

  4. Ally Pye, somewhere along the way I missed this post of your beautiful paintings. That's great work Ally. So good to see you and thx for stopping by my blog. I read your comment and also commented on your comment. Happy Birthday to your MOM even though she is no longer here, I'm sure she is thought about all the time by you and your family. Sorry you cried yourself to sleep. Always remember she is at your side always as my son is. I'm excited to hear about the journey of life you've been on. Please be sure to post about it when you have a chance. I look forward to it. How exciting for you, "grad school." Yay!! Take care amiga, talk to you soon. I miss your posts and you.
